Why did you choose the master’s program in marketing?

Marketing is linked with day to day products and offerings that each and every entity, individuals or corporate entities, experiences on day to day basis. It is interesting to remain in such stream of technology, trends, psychology and market mechanism. All such factors were main driving factor for me to go for this program.

What was your specialty during your Bachelor studies?

Business Studies with main focus towards accounting and finance.

Why did you chose that particular specialty during the Bachelor level?

Business Administration offers many aspects of real life time functional areas of business world.

A few words about how you got your current job?              

I have recently immigrated to Canada where I had to learn market dynamics and ways of doing job in a new culture. I have started my career from scratch once again.

My previous job was in United Arab Emirates. Last entrusted role was as a Financial Controller which would require to steer the department through financial as well as none financial challenges where numbers would reflect and project a particular picture of varying business aspects.

Any advice you would like to give to current students?     

I would start with a quote that i always likes "one can defeat anything but experience". New commers although come to the market with fresh and latest knowledge and ideas but real life time applications and in particular stress is really hard to handle. Please do maintain work life balance, do find time to cherish the hard earned money with your family and loved ones work and business are really hard.
