A few words about your work tasks and responsibilities:

I am the current Finance Manager for Fierro Service Center that belongs to General Electric, which englobes all tasks and responsibilities in a Finance Department (accounting, treasury, reporting, cost control, etc). I report my work to the Senior Finance Manager in charge of various sites in Europe.

Why you chose the Master’s program that you studied at USBE:

I was offered the possibility to carry out my studies in a foreign country and I thought USBE suited me perfectly. A good and prestigious university in a really interesting country and culture.

What your specialty was during your Bachelor studies:

I studied at Deusto University in San Sebastian (Spain) and completed my studies with a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance.

A few words about how you got your current job for example which previous employments were the stepping stones in reaching your current position:

Once I finished my Degree of Master at USBE I was employed by Deloitte in Spain, where I worked for 10 years and was promoted as Audit and Risk Services Manager. I was in charge of Audit projects in the Basque region, mainly. In September 2016 I started working for General Electric as Finance Manager of one of their locations in Spain. I would have not been able to reach my current position without a good academic background.

Any advice you would like to give to current students at USBE:

Just enjoy every moment at USBE in all aspects.
