Careerpath:

During my studies, i did a lot of consultancy work, picked up Swedish and did Pro Bono projects that helped me increase my connections and knowledge of global markets. Especially from my work in Ericsson Sweden i learned a lot of corporate world. My strong computer background helped me land in Customer Support departments of big companies like Telenor and Microsoft.

Why I chose this program:

I had some friend studying in Sweden and i already had an MBA from Pakistan. I was searching for a good program that would hone my skills and deepen my knowledge of business world. I found Umea to be a good place for not only the business studies but also in terms of opportunities to learn from a multicultural and multi-faceted academic community.

Advice to current students:

I would definitely recommend new students to gain first-hand experience by carving  liaisons with industry leaders. Nothing helps more than doing things yourself. Jobs cannot be done by reading alone.
