A few words about your work tasks and responsibilities

Europe Unlimited, a platform for innovative entrepreneurs and investors, is my major client where I mainly work in project management. My prime task there is building and implementing pan-European projects and events related to innovation, startups, investment readiness, and entrepreneur-investor matchmaking. Besides this, I have also worked with short-term projects in investor research at Umea Biotech Incubator, and new business development and product evaluation at Uminova Innovation. 

What did you choose to study as your specialization during C- and D-level?

I took mostly finance and accounting courses in C-level and then Financial Management in D-level.

Why did you choose those courses?

I choose those courses, mainly because I planned a career in finance and also because I personally feel that you gain hard skills by taking these courses. Although my current work involves mostly management and business development, having a finance background helps me understand businesses better and makes it much easier to work in the Startups and Venture Capital sphere.

What advice would you like to give to our current students?

It is difficult to predict future, preferences and choices are subject to change depending you own interest and the opportunities you get. Do what you feel is important right now. If you do not, then there might be regrets later on. I reckon that, the IBP gives you a solid overview of Business Administration which will allow you to thrive in multiple roles within any organization. That is why, choose the courses which are more interesting for you and on which you want to achieve a deeper understanding.
