Why did you choose the master’s program in Business Development and Internationalization?

I believe that international business development is the most important phenomenon for businesses to grow in the modern globalized world where internet, media, and various modes of communications have transformed business processes. Corporations are becoming more and more dependent on different countries based on efficient resource allocation and division of business units.

I chose this program with a vision to understand the strategic foresight and internationalization of business tactics. After completing the program, I got associated with the research sector of education so as to understand it with higher focus. Today I am working in the “Development” sector of Healthcare Department of Government of Punjab, Pakistan.

What was your specialty during your Bachelor studies?

During bachelors, my focused subjects were branding, marketing, strategic management, and organizational behavior. Along with these core courses, I also studied accounting, finance, sociology, and psychology.

Why did you choose that particular specialty during the Bachelor level?

I chose a set of specialties during bachelors to acquire a basic understanding of all the related subjects of business development and management.

A few words about how you got your current job?

I got my current job after qualifying the written test via NTS followed by two interviews.

Any advice you would like to give to current students?

I would like to say that current students should be sure what they are learning and why. If they are studying just to earn a degree then it will lead nowhere. Students should have a long-term vision related to their current programs. Only this way they can have the motivation and the required higher interest to gain knowledge. This will help them to truly grasp the lessons taught by their teachers and proceed with them to excel in their future life.
